Mangaluru, Mar. 5: Swami Dayananda Saraswati Jayanti was celebrated at Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Mangaluru. The students spoke about the significance of the day and highlighted the importance of remembering Swami Dayananda Saraswati and his teachings that guided the society towards truth, knowledge and righteousness. Addressing the gathering, Sri Arun spoke about the life of Swami Dayananda Saraswati and his invaluable contribution to the Arya Samaj. He explained how Swamiji worked for social reforms, opposed superstitions and promoted education and equality in the society.

ಮಂಗಳೂರು, ಮಾ. 5: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ದಯಾನಂದ ಸರಸ್ವತಿ ಅವರ ಜಯಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ದಿನದ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ದಯಾನಂದ ಸರಸ್ವತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಾಜವನ್ನು ಸತ್ಯ, ಜ್ಞಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಸದಾಚಾರದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ಮಾಡುವ ಅವರ ಬೋಧನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸುವ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸಿದರು. ಶ್ರೀ ಅರುಣ್ ಅವರು ಸಭೆಯನ್ನುದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ದಯಾನಂದ ಸರಸ್ವತಿ ಅವರ ಜೀವನ ಮತ್ತು ಆರ್ಯ ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯ ಕೊಡುಗೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಸ್ವಾಮೀಜಿ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಸುಧಾರಣೆಗಾಗಿ ಹೇಗೆ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿದರು, ಮೂಢನಂಬಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ವಿರೋಧಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಾಜದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಾನತೆಯನ್ನು ಉತ್ತೇಜಿಸಿದರು ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಅವರು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು.
