Mangaluru, Jan. 23: Vasant Panchami was celebrated herein Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra – Mangaluru. Floral tributes were offered to Goddess Saraswati and divine blessings were sought for the academic and moral growth of the students. Kinjal explained the significance of Vasant Panchami, highlighting that the festival is dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge, wisdom, music and learning, and symbolizes new beginnings in education. Students of LKG and Class 7 performed a dance performance. Students sang Sharada Bhajan. After the main program, students and teachers performed Saraswati Puja class-wise. Books symbolizing respect for knowledge and education were placed before the Goddess. Prasad was distributed at the end.

ಮಂಗಳೂರು, ಜ. 23: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕೇಂದ್ರ – ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಸಂತ ಪಂಚಮಿಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಸರಸ್ವತಿ ದೇವಿಗೆ ಪುಷ್ಪಾರ್ಚನೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿ, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ನೈತಿಕ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಗೆ ದೈವಿಕ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದವನ್ನು ಕೋರಿದರು. ಕಿಂಜಲ್ ವಸಂತ ಪಂಚಮಿಯ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿ, ಈ ಹಬ್ಬವು ಜ್ಞಾನ, ಬುದ್ಧಿವಂತಿಕೆ, ಸಂಗೀತ ಮತ್ತು ಕಲಿಕೆಯ ದೇವತೆಯಾದ ಸರಸ್ವತಿ ದೇವಿಗೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಿತವಾಗಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಸ ಆರಂಭಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಕೇತಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸಿದರು. ಎಲ್‌ಕೆಜಿ ಮತ್ತು 7 ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ನೃತ್ಯ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಶಾರದಾ ಭಜನೆಯನ್ನು ಹಾಡಿದರು. ಮುಖ್ಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ನಂತರ, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ತರಗತಿವಾರು ಸರಸ್ವತಿ ಪೂಜೆಯನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿದರು. ಜ್ಞಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಗೌರವವನ್ನು ಸಂಕೇತಿಸುವ ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳನ್ನು ದೇವಿಯ ಮುಂದೆ ಇರಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಕೊನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಸಾದವನ್ನು ವಿತರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
